The Inventory Adjustment menus are useful for making single inventory adjustments like a single consultant exchange or noting that one product has been damaged. However, if you are making multiple changes to your inventory, the quickest way to change your inventory levels is to actually change them directly in the grid:

1.  In the Product Catalog, click the All Products view in the left-hand pane.

2.  Click the Edit button right above the grid:

This places the grid in edit-mode, which enables you to make changes directly in the grid. Note
that many other grids in Strive can be placed in edit-mode for quick editing.

3.  Find the products for which you would like to change the inventory level.
You can use the Filter Data… box in the upper right-hand corner to easily find them. Simply type part of the name or number and use the Enter key on your keyboard to search. Use the X next to the Find box to clear a search and view all products again.

If you are adding your initial inventory and have discontinued products in stock, then you will need to uncheck the Hide Discontinued Products checkbox above the grid. When you are finished, I suggest that you re-check this option in order to de-clutter your product lists (and avoid accidentally selecting a discontinued product on an invoice). Any discontinued products that you have in stock will still appear in product lists when the option is turned on.

4.  Click the Save icon just above the grid to commit your changes.

5.  You will be prompted for a reason for the inventory level changes. Select an appropriate Adjustment Type and change the date if necessary. You can enter a detailed reason if desired.

6.  Click OK to save.
